The G. B. Brown Family Plot locted in Beulah Plains Cemetery Zachary, La. Conservation Project was funded
by a private benefactor. The memorials and gravesites were rennovated by removal of monument foundations
which had settled due to the lack of modern buarial vaults at the time of interments. The brick covered
concrete slabs which were erected sometime after the burials were removed. The memorials were dismanteled
and stored until new foundations could be built. The memorial work was re installed on poured concrete
foundations of sufficent debth to support the structures. The benefactor choose to decline the
cleaning of the memorial work.
